Now, Castaway Stories has 2 modes. One of which is a Story mode, the other a Sandbox more like the classical Sims 2 using different mechanics. Whatever system the console version had for exploring and the torch-clad leader is not present

Don’t get me wrong, Castaway Stories would be beautiful as it is if they just included another mode to mimic what the console-players had gotten but as it is its a standalone expansion and may as well be called Sims 2: Islanders It does have merit, but its not what I, personally, was hoping for.
