To get to Celadon City in Pokemon FireRed, start by entering Lavender Town to the south. From here, go west on Route 8 out of Lavender Town. Enter the building to the north of the Saffron City gates to gain access to the Underground Path, which will pop you out on Route 7, right out of Celadon City.

You can start making your way to Celadon City after defeating the Vermillion City Gym Leader. Along the way you’ll find a lot of useful items and Pokemon. At Celadon City, you’ll be able to get the Silph Scope which will give you access to the Pokémon Tower. Head to Route 11 after defeating the Vermillion Gym boss.

Firstly, it’s home to the fourth Pokemon Gym. The city even has a Game Corner to play in and a Department Store with tons of items to purchase. You will need HM Cut to challenge the Celadon City Gym, but since you already have it in your arsenal, you can battle it immediately after arriving.
